2017

In collaboration with Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia (KPG), Bentara Budaya Jakarta (BBJ), and Can’s Gallery

SSC and Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia (KPG), launched the autobiography of S. Sudjojono, Cerita tentang Saya dan Orang-Orang di Sekitar Saya and the biography of Rose Pandanwangi, Kisah Mawar Pandanwangi. The launching was held in conjunction with an exhibition of Sudjojono’s sketches, some of his paintings, and the couple’s memorabilia.

SEABAD S. SUDJOJONO - ART, LIFE, AND LEGACY

2013 – 2014

In collaboration with Canna Gallery (today Can’s Gallery) and supported by Centre of Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), at the Pakarti Center Building

Together with partners and other art institutions, SSC commemorated A Century of S. Sudjojono (1913-2013). It was celebrated through a series of events, exhibition, and Seabad S. Sudjojono book launching.  Sudjojono’s masterpiece, The Battle of Sultan Agung and J. P. Coen (1973), was highlighted during this event.

2010

In collaboration with Canna Gallery (today Can’s Gallery) and supported by Soemardja Gallery, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), at Bandung and Jakarta

The book launching of S. Sudjojono Center’s 2nd publication, Sang Ahli Gambar in conjunction  with the accompanying exhibition held at Soemardja Gallery, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Selasar Sunaryo, and other galleries in Bandung and Jakarta such as Can’s Gallery.

VISIBLE SOUL

2006

In collaboration with Canna Gallery (today Can’s Gallery)

In 2006, S. Sudjojono Center was established and launched their very first publication, the biography of S. Sudjojono, titled under the same name as the exhibition, Visible Soul, held at The National Gallery of Indonesia.
